Jay got his start in dirt racing in the early 1990s with Houck Racing, serving as a pit crew member and tire specialist on the #88 Late Model of Dan Houck. He later competed in a limited schedule of Street Modified races at Delaware International and Georgetown Speedways before taking a 30-year hiatus from racing.
In 2019, at the urging of Billy Cummings, Jay made his return to the dirt track in 2020 and scored his first career win in the 2021 season opener at Georgetown. Since then, our team’s premier driver won three consecutive Delmarva Chargers Sport Compact Racing Club Championships (2021–2023) and secured the Middleford Speedway points championships in 2022 and 2024.
According to Jay:
“One of my most memorable racing experiences was qualifying and competing in the weeklong 2022 Bristol Dirt Nationals Hornet series and qualifying for the A-main in which I gained 10 positions and secured the Hard Charger award.”

Sabrina was familiar with NASCAR racing growing up near Dover Downs Speedway, but in 2020 when she met Jay “The Showman” Lowman her love/hate relationship with dirt track racing began. Although she counts down to the “off” season, (wait…is there really an off season?)
She 110% supports Jay in his racing adventures and doesn’t like to miss any of his races. She is proud of all her KWIK teammates and what the team has accomplished. Sabrina has gained quite a bit of race car knowledge over the years and has enjoyed hitting the dirt in the 2A race car at Delaware International Speedway for a hot laps session.

John is a dirt track transplant from the street/strip drag racing world. He transitioned to circle track dirt racing in 2022 and has called it home ever since. In the three seasons since he began, “Turbo” has made 2 top tens (MD & DE) and a top 5 (MD) season points finishes. He also won the 2023 Delaware International Speedway Dirt Track Championship Show.
This fiery driver joined the KWIK team full time in the 2024 season and has been a great addition, bringing his outgoing personality along for the ride.

Wyatt is the W in the KWIK name.
He has been with the team full time since 2022 and started out as the driver of the number 72 Warhorse, but transitioned to the 27W with which he got his first win in.
He has a strong competitive streak in him which can be summed up in his own words: “I love to win and hate to lose (“If you aren’t first you’re last” -Ricky Bobby) and I actively have a love hate relationship with racing.”

Billy Cummings has always had a passion for racing and is one of the founding members of KWIK Motorsports. He has competed full time in the Delmarva Chargers Sport Compact Racing Club since 2021 and has consistently been in the top ten in points for the last few seasons.
Billy enjoys a wide range of hobbies such as comic book collecting, model trains, and historical re-enactment/living history. He also has a passion for good food and can always be found scouting out food trucks and greasy spoons whenever the team travels for race events.

“Is it off season yet?”
I actually prefer racing of the one horsepower variety but here I am. Jay and Billy both blame the other for embarking on this journey and thus me being here. Seriously though, this journey has been fun, heartbreaking and amazing all at the same time.
I provide support to the team via administrative aid, funds, and Aleve (has anyone asked Aleve for a sponsorship?). I look forward to seeing where this year and future years take us.

Aria is the team’s intern/developmental driver and has been learning the business from her Grandfather Billy Cummings and her Uncle Wyatt. Derek got his start back in 2010 with the Delmarva Chargers Sport Compact Racing Club. He ran his own car for a few years, but after a particularly bad wreck destroyed his ride, he sat out a few seasons until approached by the KWIK Motorsports team to become a substitute driver.
The young driver quickly proved his worth to the team by running a string of solid races with several second place finishes and never being lower than fifth place in any of his starts. At the end of the 2023 season he was made a full member of the team and has been the team’s go to when a substitute driver has been needed. For the 2025 season, Derek will be splitting time in the number 72 machine and running a larger schedule than he has in past season with the hope of eventually securing a full time ride for 2026.
